Q: Are your chemicals harmful to children and pets? A: The products we use, when applied by trained professionals and once they have completly dried present very little or negligible risk to your children / pets to walk or play in the yard. | Q: Do I need to be at home? A: No! Most of our lawns are serviced during normal business hours. Unless otherwise instructed, your technician will complete his work and leave a letter at your door. You will recieve an invoice in the mail a few days after services are rendered. | Q: What if it rains after an application? A: Rain is benificial following a pre-emergent, fertilizer, lime or grub treatment, and will not affect the results. However, rain will affect the application only if broadleaf weeds are treated. If this is the case, please allow enough time for results (depending on temperatures). In about 14 days if the weeds do not begin to die, please call us and we'll be glad to re-treat the weeds at no additional cost to you. | Q: How long do I have to wait before I can mow? A: It is best to wait 24-48 hours after the treatment to mow. This allows the chemicals to be absorbed into the grass and weeds. | Q: How much do I have to water? A: The type of soil you have determines how much water is needed. Here is an easy way to determine if your watering enough. Use a 6 inch screwdriver 12 hours after watering, and try to push it into the ground. If the ground has not been watered deep enough, it will be difficult to push the screwdriver into the ground. If you are able to push the whole screwdriver into the groung with ease, then you are watering correctly. | Q: Will you Seed My Yard in The Fall? A: Yes! This is an extra service that is not included in the lawncare program. There will be a predetermined price for each job. As with our other services, seeding jobs are guaranteed as well. Seeding season usually runs during Sept 1 - Oct 31. Call in advance to ensure that you get on the schedule! |
